لِتُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتُعَزِّرُوهُ وَتُوَقِّرُوهُ وَتُسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا

bharataam apa yad rapo dyauH pRthivi kSamaa rapo mo Su te kiM canaamamat

לֹא־ תַשִּׁ֣יךְ לְאָחִ֔יךָ נֶ֥שֶׁךְ כֶּ֖סֶף נֶ֣שֶׁךְ אֹ֑כֶל נֶ֕שֶׁךְ כָּל־ דָּבָ֖ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִשָּֽׁךְ׃

idaM tyat paatram indrapaanam indrasya priyam amRtam apaayi

וְכִֽי־ יִפְתַּ֨ח אִ֜ישׁ בּ֗וֹר א֠וֹ כִּֽי־ יִכְרֶ֥ה אִ֛ישׁ בֹּ֖ר וְלֹ֣א יְכַסֶּ֑נּוּ וְנָֽפַל־ שָׁ֥מָּה שּׁ֖וֹר א֥וֹ חֲמֽוֹר׃

yaabhir naraa shayave yaabhir atraye yaabhiH puraa manave gaatum iiSathuH

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

וְעַתָּ֗ה מַה־ יֵּ֧שׁ תַּֽחַת־ יָדְךָ֛ חֲמִשָּׁה־ לֶ֖חֶם תְּנָ֣ה בְיָדִ֑י א֖וֹ הַנִּמְצָֽא׃

bharataam apa yad rapo dyauH pRthivi kSamaa rapo mo Su te kiM canaamamat

And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gathrimmon with her suburbs:

udapruto na vayo rakSamaaNaa vaavadato abhriyasyeva ghoSaaH

אִ֣ם אֶת־ הַדָּבָ֤ר הַזֶּה֙ תַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה וְצִוְּךָ֣ אֱלֹהִ֔ים וְיָֽכָלְתָּ֖ עֲמֹ֑ד וְגַם֙ כָּל־ הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה עַל־ מְקֹמ֖וֹ יָבֹ֥א בְשָׁלֽוֹם׃

vatsaanaaM na tantayas ta indra daamanvanto adaamaanaH sudaaman

And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s wife.

וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ אָבִ֔יו וּבְ֨חַטָּאת֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶחֱטִ֖יא אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

toshaasaa rathayaavaanaa vRtrahaNaaparaajitaa

indraaya soma paatave vRtraghne pari Sicyase

Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
