And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

kva\ svid aasaaM katamaa puraaNii yayaa vidhaanaa vidadhur RbhuuNaam

וּבָ֤א אַהֲרֹן֙ אֶל־ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וּפָשַׁט֙ אֶת־ בִּגְדֵ֣י הַבָּ֔ד אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָבַ֖שׁ בְּבֹא֣וֹ אֶל־ הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וְהִנִּיחָ֖ם שָֽׁם׃

שָׁאֲג֣וּ צֹ֭רְרֶיךָ בְּקֶ֣רֶב מוֹעֲדֶ֑ךָ שָׂ֖מוּ אוֹתֹתָ֣ם אֹתֽוֹת׃

sharasya cid aarcatkasyaavataad aa niicaad uccaa cakrathuH paatave vaaH

Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

λόγον ζωῆς ἐπέχοντες, εἰς καύχημα ἐμοὶ εἰς ἡμέραν Χριστοῦ, ὅτι οὐκ εἰς κενὸν ἔδραμον οὐδὲ εἰς κενὸν ἐκοπίασα.

Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.

וָאֶתְפַּלֵּ֖ל אֶל־ יְהוָ֑ה אַחֲרֵ֤י תִתִּי֙ אֶת־ סֵ֣פֶר הַמִּקְנָ֔ה אֶל־ בָּר֥וּךְ בֶּן־ נֵרִיָּ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃

לִשְׁבֹּ֤ר אַשּׁוּר֙ בְּאַרְצִ֔י וְעַל־ הָרַ֖י אֲבוּסֶ֑נּוּ וְסָ֤ר מֵֽעֲלֵיהֶם֙ עֻלּ֔וֹ וְסֻ֨בֳּל֔וֹ מֵעַ֥ל שִׁכְמ֖וֹ יָסֽוּר׃

I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

ἀντίθεον θεράποντα Μολίονα τοῖο ἄνακτος.

לִבְנֵ֣י נַפְתָּלִ֔י יָצָ֖א הַגּוֹרָ֣ל הַשִּׁשִּׁ֑י לִבְנֵ֥י נַפְתָּלִ֖י לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃

etat ta indra viirya\M giirbhir gRNanti kaaravaH

ye naH sapatnaa apa te bhavantv indraagnibhyaam ava baadhaamahe taan

The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

בַּצַּר־ לִ֤י ׀ אֶֽקֲרָ֣א יְהוָה֮ וְאֶל־ אֱלֹהַ֢י אֲשַׁ֫וֵּ֥עַ יִשְׁמַ֣ע מֵהֵיכָל֣וֹ קוֹלִ֑י וְ֝שַׁוְעָתִ֗י לְפָנָ֤יו ׀ תָּב֬וֹא בְאָזְנָֽיו׃
