And he beat down the tower of Penuel, and slew the men of the city.

mandantu tvaa mandino vaayav indavo .asmat kraaNaasaH sukRtaa abhidyavo gobhiH kraaNaa abhidyavaH

וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה וַֽיְטַהֲר֖וּ הַלְּשָׁכ֑וֹת וָאָשִׁ֣יבָה שָּׁ֗ם כְּלֵי֙ בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים אֶת־ הַמִּנְחָ֖ה וְהַלְּבוֹנָֽה׃

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

yasya dharman sva\r eniiH saparyanti maatur uudhaH

pra vo mahiim aramatiM kRNudhvam pra puuSaNaM vidathya\M na viiram

אַף־ אֲנִ֗י אֵלֵ֤ךְ עִמָּם֙ בְּקֶ֔רִי וְהֵבֵאתִ֣י אֹתָ֔ם בְּאֶ֖רֶץ אֹיְבֵיהֶ֑ם אוֹ־ אָ֣ז יִכָּנַ֗ע לְבָבָם֙ הֶֽעָרֵ֔ל וְאָ֖ז יִרְצ֥וּ אֶת־ עֲוֺנָֽם׃

And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:

וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם אֶת־ הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֗ה כֹּֽה־ אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כָּל־ נֵ֖בֶל יִמָּ֣לֵא יָ֑יִן וְאָמְר֣וּ אֵלֶ֔יךָ הֲיָדֹ֙עַ֙ לֹ֣א נֵדַ֔ע כִּ֥י כָל־ נֵ֖ב...

Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.

yaadRshmin dhaayi tam apasyayaa vidad ya u svayaM vahate so araM karat

In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

וַיְמַהֵ֧ר אַבְרָהָ֛ם הָאֹ֖הֱלָה אֶל־ שָׂרָ֑ה וַיֹּ֗אמֶר מַהֲרִ֞י שְׁלֹ֤שׁ סְאִים֙ קֶ֣מַח סֹ֔לֶת ל֖וּשִׁי וַעֲשִׂ֥י עֻגֽוֹת׃

My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

Διώκετε τὴν ἀγάπην, ζηλοῦτε δὲ τὰ πνευματικά, μᾶλλον δὲ ἵνα προφητεύητε.
