And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

אָר֥וּר פְּרִֽי־ בִטְנְךָ֖ וּפְרִ֣י אַדְמָתֶ֑ךָ שְׁגַ֥ר אֲלָפֶ֖יךָ וְעַשְׁתְּר֥וֹת צֹאנֶֽךָ׃

And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

וּמִצְרַ֣יִם מְקַבְּרִ֗ים אֵת֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הִכָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה בָּהֶ֖ם כָּל־ בְּכ֑וֹר וּבֵאלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם עָשָׂ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה שְׁפָטִֽים׃

And he dwelleth in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabiteth, which are ready to become heaps.

Then came the word of the LORD unto the prophet Jeremiah saying,

sa shardhad aryo viSuNasya jantor maa shishnadevaa api gur RtaM naH

abhi yaH puurum pRtanaasu tasthau dyutaano daivyo atithiH shushoca

מִדָּ֣ה שֵׁנִ֗ית הֶחֱזִיק֙ מַלְכִּיָּ֣ה בֶן־ חָרִ֔ם וְחַשּׁ֖וּב בֶּן־ פַּחַ֣ת מוֹאָ֑ב וְאֵ֖ת מִגְדַּ֥ל הַתַּנּוּרִֽים׃

And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.
