And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.

So Joab arose and went to Geshur, and brought Absalom to Jerusalem.

וַיָּשֻׁבוּ֩ כָל־ הָעָ֨ם אֶל־ הַמַּחֲנֶ֧ה אֶל־ יְהוֹשֻׁ֛עַ מַקֵּדָ֖ה בְּשָׁל֑וֹם לֹֽא־ חָרַ֞ץ לִבְנֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל לְאִ֖ישׁ אֶת־ לְשֹׁנֽוֹ׃

trii rocanaa divyaa dhaarayanta hiraNyayaaH shucayo dhaarapuutaaH

nuu indra raaye varivas kRdhii na aa te mano vavRtyaama maghaaya

And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁמַ֗רְתָּ לְעַבְדְּךָ֙ דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֔י אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־ דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ ל֑וֹ וַתְּדַבֵּ֥ר בְּפִ֛יךָ וּבְיָדְךָ֥ מִלֵּ֖אתָ כַּיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃

ὁ γὰρ ἄρτος τοῦ θεοῦ ἐστιν ὁ καταβαίνων ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ζωὴν διδοὺς τῷ κόσμῳ.

וְלֹֽא־ תָקִ֤יא הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֶתְכֶ֔ם בְּטַֽמַּאֲכֶ֖ם אֹתָ֑הּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר קָאָ֛ה אֶת־ הַגּ֖וֹי אֲשֶׁ֥ר לִפְנֵיכֶֽם׃

And David sware unto Saul. And Saul went home; but David and his men gat them up unto the hold.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
