וְיָשְׁב֗וּ אִ֣ישׁ תַּ֧חַת גַּפְנ֛וֹ וְתַ֥חַת תְּאֵנָת֖וֹ וְאֵ֣ין מַחֲרִ֑יד כִּי־ פִ֛י יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת דִּבֵּֽר׃

וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע הַמֶּֽלֶךְ־ יְ֠הוֹיָקִים וְכָל־ גִּבּוֹרָ֤יו וְכָל־ הַשָּׂרִים֙ אֶת־ דְּבָרָ֔יו וַיְבַקֵּ֥שׁ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ הֲמִית֑וֹ וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע אוּרִיָּ֙הוּ֙ וַיִּרָ֔א וַיִּבְרַ֖ח ו...

And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

וְלָקַ֛ח לְחַטֵּ֥א אֶת־ הַבַּ֖יִת שְׁתֵּ֣י צִפֳּרִ֑ים וְעֵ֣ץ אֶ֔רֶז וּשְׁנִ֥י תוֹלַ֖עַת וְאֵזֹֽב׃

bRhaspate prathamaM vaaco agraM yat prairata naamadheyaM dadhaanaaH

כִּי֩ הָיֹ֨ה יִהְיֶ֜ה הַדָּבָ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֤ר קָרָא֙ בִּדְבַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה עַל־ הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּבֵֽית־ אֵ֑ל וְעַל֙ כָּל־ בָּתֵּ֣י הַבָּמ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּעָרֵ֥י שֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃

גַּם־ לְשׁוֹנִ֗י כָּל־ הַ֭יּוֹם תֶּהְגֶּ֣ה צִדְקָתֶ֑ךָ כִּי־ בֹ֥שׁוּ כִֽי־ חָ֝פְר֗וּ מְבַקְשֵׁ֥י רָעָתִֽי׃

ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ ἄμπελος, ὑμεῖς τὰ κλήματα. ὁ μένων ἐν ἐμοὶ κἀγὼ ἐν αὐτῷ οὗτος φέρει καρπὸν πολύν, ὅτι χωρὶς ἐμοῦ οὐ δύνασθε ποιεῖν οὐδέν.

And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.

עַ֣ל ׀ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־ שָׁמְע֗וּ בְּקוֹל֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֔ם וַיַּעַבְרוּ֙ אֶת־ בְּרִית֔וֹ אֵ֚ת כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֣ר צִוָּ֔ה מֹשֶׁ֖ה עֶ֣בֶד יְהוָ֑ה וְלֹ֥א שָׁמְע֖וּ וְלֹ֥א עָשֽׂוּ׃

שְׁלֹ֧שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֛ים כִּכְּרֵ֥י זָהָ֖ב מִזְּהַ֣ב אוֹפִ֑יר וְשִׁבְעַ֨ת אֲלָפִ֤ים כִּכַּר־ כֶּ֙סֶף֙ מְזֻקָּ֔ק לָט֖וּחַ קִיר֥וֹת הַבָּתִּֽים׃

He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.

Ὀφείλομεν δὲ ἡμεῖς οἱ δυνατοὶ τὰ ἀσθενήματα τῶν ἀδυνάτων βαστάζειν, καὶ μὴ ἑαυτοῖς ἀρέσκειν.

And Mizpah; for he said, The LORD watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another.

If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
