And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever:

Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.

For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

οἱ δὲ πολῖται αὐτοῦ ἐμίσουν αὐτόν, καὶ ἀπέστειλαν πρεσβείαν ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ λέγοντες· Οὐ θέλομεν τοῦτον βασιλεῦσαι ἐφʼ ἡμᾶς.

וְהוֹתַרְתִּ֤י מֵהֶם֙ אַנְשֵׁ֣י מִסְפָּ֔ר מֵחֶ֖רֶב מֵרָעָ֣ב וּמִדָּ֑בֶר לְמַ֨עַן יְסַפְּר֜וּ אֶת־ כָּל־ תּוֹעֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם בַּגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁר־ בָּ֣אוּ שָׁ֔ם וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־ אֲנ...

ye agnayo na shoshucann idhaanaa dvir yat trir maruto vaavRdhanta

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.

וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה עִ֣יר שֹׁפֶ֥כֶת דָּ֛ם בְּתוֹכָ֖הּ לָב֣וֹא עִתָּ֑הּ וְעָשְׂתָ֧ה גִלּוּלִ֛ים עָלֶ֖יהָ לְטָמְאָֽה׃
