That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

וַיֵּ֣רֶד צָד֣וֹק הַ֠כֹּהֵן וְנָתָ֨ן הַנָּבִ֜יא וּבְנָיָ֣הוּ בֶן־ יְהוֹיָדָ֗ע וְהַכְּרֵתִי֙ וְהַפְּלֵתִ֔י וַיַּרְכִּ֙בוּ֙ אֶת־ שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה עַל־ פִּרְדַּ֖ת הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ דָּוִ֑ד וַיֹּ...

וְהִכִּיתֶ֞ם כָּל־ עִ֤יר מִבְצָר֙ וְכָל־ עִ֣יר מִבְח֔וֹר וְכָל־ עֵ֥ץ טוֹב֙ תַּפִּ֔ילוּ וְכָל־ מַעְיְנֵי־ מַ֖יִם תִּסְתֹּ֑מוּ וְכֹל֙ הַחֶלְקָ֣ה הַטּוֹבָ֔ה תַּכְאִ֖בוּ בָּאֲבָנִֽים׃

I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:

λέγει γὰρ ἡ γραφὴ τῷ Φαραὼ ὅτι Εἰς αὐτὸ τοῦτο ἐξήγειρά σε ὅπως ἐνδείξωμαι ἐν σοὶ τὴν δύναμίν μου, καὶ ὅπως διαγγελῇ τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ.
