I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

And goeth out from Bethel to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments,

כֹּ֣ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֡ה לֹֽא־ תַעֲלוּ֩ וְלֹא־ תִלָּ֨חֲמ֜וּן עִם־ אֲחֵיכֶ֣ם בְּנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל שׁ֚וּבוּ אִ֣ישׁ לְבֵית֔וֹ כִּ֧י מֵאִתִּ֛י נִהְיָ֖ה הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה וַיִּשְׁמְעוּ֙...

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלָיו֙ הָעֶ֔בֶד אוּלַי֙ לֹא־ תֹאבֶ֣ה הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה לָלֶ֥כֶת אַחֲרַ֖י אֶל־ הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֑את הֶֽהָשֵׁ֤ב אָשִׁיב֙ אֶת־ בִּנְךָ֔ אֶל־ הָאָ֖רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־ יָצָ֥אתָ מִשָּֽׁם׃

וַיִּתֵּ֥ן יוֹאָ֛ב אֶת־ מִסְפַּ֥ר מִפְקַד־ הָעָ֖ם אֶל־ הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַתְּהִ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל שְׁמֹנֶה֩ מֵא֨וֹת אֶ֤לֶף אִֽישׁ־ חַ֙יִל֙ שֹׁ֣לֵֽף חֶ֔רֶב וְאִ֣ישׁ יְהוּדָ֔ה חֲמֵשׁ־ מֵא֥ו...
