פֵּ֖תַח דְּבָרֶ֥יךָ יָאִ֗יר מֵבִ֥ין פְּתָיִֽים׃

מְזָרֶ֣ה רְ֭שָׁעִים מֶ֣לֶךְ חָכָ֑ם וַיָּ֖שֶׁב עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם אוֹפָֽן׃

וַיִּשְׁבְּת֥וּ הָעָ֖ם בַּיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁבִעִֽי׃

adveSo no maruto gaatum etana shrotaa havaM jaritur evayaamarut

And it came to pass after this, that Joash was minded to repair the house of the LORD.

कामैस्तैस्तैर्हृतज्ञानाः प्रपद्यन्तेऽन्यदेवताः । तं तं नियममास्थाय प्रकृत्या नियताः स्वया

tapanti shatruM sva\r Na bhuumaa mahaasenaaso amebhir eSaam

ugraM yuyujma pRtanaasu saasahim RNakaatim adaabhyam

εἶμι γὰρ ὀψομένη πολυφόρβου πείρατα γαίης,

vayaM tad vaH samraaja aa vRNiimahe putro na bahupaayyam

وَإِنْ جَنَحُوا لِلسَّلْمِ فَاجْنَحْ لَهَا وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

maa na indra paraa vRNag bhavaa naH sadhamaadyaH

And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

καὶ διὰ τὸ πληθυνθῆναι τὴν ἀνομίαν ψυγήσεται ἡ ἀγάπη τῶν πολλῶν.

na taM tigmaM cana tyajo na draasad abhi taM guru

ἀλλʼ ἄγε τεύχεα δεῦρο λαβὼν ἴθι· ταῦτα δʼ ἅμα χρὴ

Ὑμεῖς δέ ἐστε οἱ διαμεμενηκότες μετʼ ἐμοῦ ἐν τοῖς πειρασμοῖς μου·

amii ya RkSaa nihitaasa uccaa naktaM dadRshre kuha cid diveyuH

I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.
