יִהְי֣וּ נֶֽגֶד־ יְהוָ֣ה תָּמִ֑יד וְיַכְרֵ֖ת מֵאֶ֣רֶץ זִכְרָֽם׃

לֹעֵ֣ג לָ֭רָשׁ חֵרֵ֣ף עֹשֵׂ֑הוּ שָׂמֵ֥חַ לְ֝אֵ֗יד לֹ֣א יִנָּקֶֽה׃

חָכְמַ֣ת עָ֭רוּם הָבִ֣ין דַּרְכּ֑וֹ וְאִוֶּ֖לֶת כְּסִילִ֣ים מִרְמָֽה׃

בּוֹנֵ֣ה יְרוּשָׁלַ֣͏ִם יְהוָ֑ה נִדְחֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל יְכַנֵּֽס׃

ה֭וֹן מֵהֶ֣בֶל יִמְעָ֑ט וְקֹבֵ֖ץ עַל־ יָ֣ד יַרְבֶּֽה׃

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَكَ هَذَا الَّذِي كَرَّمْتَ عَلَيَّ لَئِنْ أَخَّرْتَنِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لَأَحْتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

βοῦν δʼ ἱερεύσαντες μέγαν ἄμφεπον· αἳ δὲ γυναῖκες

I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

saa vasu dadhatii shvashuraaya vaya uSo yadi vaSTy antigRhaat

upo nayasva vRSaNaa tapuSpotem ava tvaM vRSabha svadhaavaH

οἳ δʼ ὥς τʼ αἰγυπιοὶ γαμψώνυχες ἀγκυλοχεῖλαι

tvam agne vaaghate supraNiitiH sutasomaaya vidhate yaviSTha

maa ta enasvanto yakSin bhujema yandhi Smaa vipra stuvate varuutham

وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ فَبِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

dRshaano rukma urviyaa vy a\dyaud durmarSam aayuH shriye rucaanaH

And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,

yat tvemahe prati tan no juSasva shaM no bhava dvipade shaM catuSpade

yebhyo madhu pradhaavati taaMsh cid evaapi gachataat

aa no diva aa pRthivyaa RjiiSinn idam barhiH somapeyaaya yaahi

ἵνα μὴ δόξω ὡς ἂν ἐκφοβεῖν ὑμᾶς διὰ τῶν ἐπιστολῶν·

ἵππειον δέ οἱ ἦξε θεὰ ζυγόν· αἳ δέ οἱ ἵπποι

taM tvaa vayaM sudhyo\ navyam agne sumnaayava iimahe devayantaH

And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
