לָ֭מָּה רָגְשׁ֣וּ גוֹיִ֑ם וּ֝לְאֻמִּ֗ים יֶהְגּוּ־ רִֽיק׃

בְּנֵי־ קֵירֹ֥ס בְּנֵי־ סִיעָ֖א בְּנֵ֥י פָדֽוֹן׃

וְהַמֶּ֖לֶךְ וְכָל־ הָעָ֑ם זֹבְחִ֥ים זֶ֖בַח לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

ק֛וּם כִּֽי־ עָלֶ֥יךָ הַדָּבָ֖ר וַאֲנַ֣חְנוּ עִמָּ֑ךְ חֲזַ֖ק וַעֲשֵֽׂה׃

צִדְקַ֣ת יְ֭שָׁרִים תַּצִּילֵ֑ם וּ֝בְהַוַּ֗ת בֹּגְדִ֥ים יִלָּכֵֽדוּ׃

And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

nuunaM na indraaparaaya ca syaa bhavaa mRLiika uta no abhiSTau

My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,

yenaa vRtraM nir adbhyo jaghantha vajrinn ojasaarcann anu svaraajyam

yaabhiH shucantiM dhanasaaM suSaMsadaM taptaM gharmam omyaavantam atraye

taa hi kSatraM dhaarayethe anu dyuun dRMhethe saanum upamaad iva dyoH

aavo yad dasyuhatye kutsaputram praavo yad dasyuhatye kutsavatsam

shukraH pavasva devebhyaH soma dive pRthivyai shaM ca prajaayai

When I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street!

tavaayaM vishvaH puruhuuta paarthivo .avasyur naama bhikSate

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

abhikrandan kalashaM vaajy a\rSati patir divaH shatadhaaro vicakSaNaH

brahmaaNi me matayaH shaM sutaasaH shuSma iyarti prabhRto me adriH

And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge.

Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;

Τοῦτο δὲ γίνωσκε ὅτι ἐν ἐσχάταις ἡμέραις ἐνστήσονται καιροὶ χαλεποί·

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

وَالَّتِي أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ رُوحِنَا وَجَعَلْنَاهَا وَابْنَهَا آيَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
