בִּרְחֹ֣ץ הֲלִיכַ֣י בְּחֵמָ֑ה וְצ֥וּר יָצ֥וּק עִ֝מָּדִ֗י פַּלְגֵי־ שָֽׁמֶן׃

שִׁמְע֣וּ שָׁ֭מוֹעַ מִלָּתִ֑י וְ֝אֽ͏ַחֲוָתִ֗י בְּאָזְנֵיכֶֽם׃

מִֽי־ יֹ֭אמַר זִכִּ֣יתִי לִבִּ֑י טָ֝הַ֗רְתִּי מֵחַטָּאתִֽי׃

But these five kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave at Makkedah.

arcatrayo dhunayo na viiraa bhraajajjanmaano maruto adhRSTaaH

yaa no duure taLito yaa araatayo .abhi santi jambhayaa taa anapnasaH

The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.

لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ

te ma aahur ya aayayur upa dyubhir vibhir made

sva\r yad ashmann adhipaa u andho .abhi maa vapur dRshaye niniiyaat

sa suSTutaH kavibhir nirNijaM dadhe tridhaatv asya daMsasaa

ἐν καυλῷ δʼ ἐάγη δολιχὸν δόρυ, τοὶ δὲ βόησαν

Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.

The children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

فَأَجَاءَهَا الْمَخَاضُ إِلَى جِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَا لَيْتَنِي مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَذَا وَكُنْتُ نَسْيًا مَنْسِيًّا

ثُمَّ أَفِيضُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge.

ἐλπίζω δὲ ὅτι γνώσεσθε ὅτι ἡμεῖς οὐκ ἐσμὲν ἀδόκιμοι.

eSa sya vaam puurvagatveva sakhye nidhir hito maadhvii raato asme

indro harii yuyuje ashvinaa ratham bRhaspatir vishvaruupaam upaajata

فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
