בְּנֵי֙ אַבְרָהָ֔ם יִצְחָ֖ק וְיִשְׁמָעֵֽאל׃

יֶאֱתָ֣יוּ חַ֭שְׁמַנִּים מִנִּ֣י מִצְרָ֑יִם כּ֥וּשׁ תָּרִ֥יץ יָ֝דָ֗יו לֵאלֹהִֽים׃

But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us.

⸀εἴ τις πεινᾷ, ἐν οἴκῳ ἐσθιέτω, ἵνα μὴ εἰς κρίμα συνέρχησθε. Τὰ δὲ λοιπὰ ὡς ἂν ἔλθω διατάξομαι.

O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

διεφέρετο δὲ ὁ λόγος τοῦ κυρίου διʼ ὅλης τῆς χώρας.

He loveth transgression that loveth strife: and he that exalteth his gate seeketh destruction.

mandraa kRNudhvaM dhiya aa tanudhvaM naavam aritraparaNiiM kRNudhvam

I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ σπείρειν ὃ μὲν ἔπεσεν παρὰ τὴν ὁδόν, καὶ ἦλθεν τὰ πετεινὰ καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτό.

And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.

For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.

وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَنْ يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتٌ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَلَكِنْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ

mahii mitrasya varuNasya maayaa candreva bhaanuM vi dadhe purutraa

Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

καὶ βάλεν ὕψι βιβάντα τυχών· οὐδʼ ἤρκεσε θώρηξ

dhruvaM te raajaa varuNo dhruvaM devo bRhaspatiH

But the word of God grew and multiplied.
