שָׂ֣שׂ אָ֭נֹכִֽי עַל־ אִמְרָתֶ֑ךָ כְּ֝מוֹצֵ֗א שָׁלָ֥ל רָֽב׃

פִּלֶ֤גֶשׁ כָּלֵב֙ מַעֲכָ֔ה יָ֥לַד שֶׁ֖בֶר וְאֶֽת־ תִּרְחֲנָֽה׃

Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?

ἀλλὰ ἔγνωκα ὑμᾶς ὅτι τὴν ἀγάπην τοῦ θεοῦ οὐκ ἔχετε ἐν ἑαυτοῖς.

Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;

Thou shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.

योगसंन्यस्तकर्माणं ज्ञानसञ्छिन्नसंशयम् । आत्मवन्तं न कर्माणि निबध्नन्ति धनञ्जय

vidveSaNaM saMvananobhayaMkaram maMhiSTham ubhayaavinam

Rtaa yajaasi mahinaa vi yad bhuur havyaa vaha yaviSTha yaa te adya

ayaM tridhaatu divi rocaneSu triteSu vindad amRtaM niguuLham

svanaa na yasya bhaamaasaH pavante rocamaanasya bRhataH sudivaH

uto na ut pupuuryaa uktheSu shavasas pata iSaM stotRbhya aa bhara

abhiipato vRSTibhis tarpayantaM sarasvantam avase johaviimi

And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

raajaanaa kSatram ahRNiiyamaanaa sahasrasthuuNam bibhRthaH saha dvau

But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:

traadhvaM no devaa nijuro vRkasya traadhvaM kartaad avapado yajatraaH

قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنْتَ عَنْ آلِهَتِي يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ لَئِنْ لَمْ تَنْتَهِ لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ وَاهْجُرْنِي مَلِيًّا

They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

ajaH puro niiyate naabhir asyaanu pashcaat kavayo yanti rebhaaH

vi suparNo antarikSaaNy akhyad gabhiiravepaa asuraH suniithaH

agnir ukthe purohito graavaaNo barhir adhvare

And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.
