לָדַ֣עַת בָּאָ֣רֶץ דַּרְכֶּ֑ךָ בְּכָל־ גּ֝וֹיִ֗ם יְשׁוּעָתֶֽךָ׃

מִי־ לִ֥י בַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְ֝עִמְּךָ֗ לֹא־ חָפַ֥צְתִּי בָאָֽרֶץ׃

וְהָי֤וּ בָנָיו֙ כְּקֶ֔דֶם וַעֲדָת֖וֹ לְפָנַ֣י תִּכּ֑וֹן וּפָ֣קַדְתִּ֔י עַ֖ל כָּל־ לֹחֲצָֽיו׃

וַיַּאֲמִ֥ינוּ בִדְבָרָ֑יו יָ֝שִׁ֗ירוּ תְּהִלָּתֽוֹ׃

uta vaam uSaso budhi saakaM suuryasya rashmibhiH

And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.

samiddhe agnau suta indra soma aa tvaa vahantu harayo vahiSThaaH

tvaM visho anayo diidyaano divo agne bRhataa rocanena

For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

upa kSatram pR~nciita hanti raajabhir bhaye cit sukSitiM dadhe

vi suuryo madhye amucad rathaM divo vidad daasaaya pratimaanam aaryaH

For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

abhi tripRSThaM vRSaNaM vayodhaam aa~NguuSaaNaam avaavashanta vaaNiiH

यत्करोषि यदश्नासि यज्जुहोषि ददासि यत् । यत्तपस्यसि कौन्तेय तत्कुरुष्व मदर्पणम्

gambhiiraaya rakSase hetim asya droghaaya cid vacasa aanavaaya

sadRshiir adya sadRshiir id u shvo diirghaM sacante varuNasya dhaama

sa sapta dhiitibhir hito nadyo\ ajinvad adruhaH

Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

οἱ γὰρ κατὰ σάρκα ὄντες τὰ τῆς σαρκὸς φρονοῦσιν, οἱ δὲ κατὰ πνεῦμα τὰ τοῦ πνεύματος.

All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not.
