לִדְלָיָ֙הוּ֙ שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֔ים לְמַֽעַזְיָ֖הוּ אַרְבָּעָ֥ה וְעֶשְׂרִֽים׃

וַיִּקְרָ֖א הַשֹּֽׁעֲרִ֑ים וַיַּגִּ֕ידוּ בֵּ֥ית הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ פְּנִֽימָה׃

וְאֶת־ גַּ֥ת וְאֶת־ מָרֵשָׁ֖ה וְאֶת־ זִֽיף׃

וְאִם־ זְר֖וֹעַ כָּאֵ֥ל ׀ לָ֑ךְ וּ֝בְק֗וֹל כָּמֹ֥הוּ תַרְעֵֽם׃

וְנִשְׁמַ֥ד מוֹאָ֖ב מֵעָ֑ם כִּ֥י עַל־ יְהוָ֖ה הִגְדִּֽיל׃

אֱ֭לֹהִים שְׁמַ֣ע תְּפִלָּתִ֑י הַ֝אֲזִ֗ינָה לְאִמְרֵי־ פִֽי׃

Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.

daNDaa ived goajanaasa aasan parichinnaa bharataa arbhakaasaH

agrego raajaapyas taviSyate vimaano ahnaam bhuvaneSv arpitaH

And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.

⸀Τεκνία, μὴ ἀγαπῶμεν λόγῳ μηδὲ τῇ γλώσσῃ ἀλλὰ ἐν ἔργῳ καὶ ἀληθείᾳ.

And Solomon went to Hamathzobah, and prevailed against it.

haste dadhaano nRmNaa vishvaany ame devaan dhaad guhaa niSiidan

There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.

There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.

yaa no dohate trir ahann asashcuSii kSumad vaajavan madhumad suviiryam

mandasva hotraad anu joSam andhaso .adhvaryavaH sa puurNaaM vaSTy aasicam

priyosriyasya vRSabhasya retino gRhaM gamemaashvinaa tad ushmasi

kuSumbhakas tad abraviid gireH pravartamaanakaH

And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
