מִהַ֥ר צֹעֶ֖ה לְהִפָּתֵ֑חַ וְלֹא־ יָמ֣וּת לַשַּׁ֔חַת וְלֹ֥א יֶחְסַ֖ר לַחְמֽוֹ׃

מִֽי־ יִתֵּ֣ן אֵ֭פוֹ וְיִכָּתְב֣וּן מִלָּ֑י מִֽי־ יִתֵּ֖ן בַּסֵּ֣פֶר וְיֻחָֽקוּ׃

וְעַתָּ֣ה בָ֭נִים שִׁמְעוּ־ לִ֑י וְאַל־ תָּ֝ס֗וּרוּ מֵאִמְרֵי־ פִֽי׃

שֵׁ֣בֶט וְ֭תוֹכַחַת יִתֵּ֣ן חָכְמָ֑ה וְנַ֥עַר מְ֝שֻׁלָּ֗ח מֵבִ֥ישׁ אִמּֽוֹ׃

גַּם־ יְהוּדָ֕ה שָׁ֥ת קָצִ֖יר לָ֑ךְ בְּשׁוּבִ֖י שְׁב֥וּת עַמִּֽי׃

vi te viSvag vaatajuutaaso agne bhaamaasaH shuce shucayash caranti

يَقْدُمُ قَوْمَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَأَوْرَدَهُمُ النَّارَ وَبِئْسَ الْوِرْدُ الْمَوْرُودُ

The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

praagnaye tavase bharadhvaM giraM divo arataye pRthivyaaH

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

diva ived aratir maanuSaa yugaa kSapo bhaasi puruvaara saMyataH

For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

harir ghRtasnuH sudRshiiko arNavo jyotiirathaH pavate raaya okya\H

ni yaM dadhur manuSyaaaa\su vikSu sva\r Na citraM vapuSe vibhaavam

And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

Rtasya maa pradisho vardhayanty aadardiro bhuvanaa dardariimi

ajasreNa shociSaa shoshucac chuce sudiitibhiH su diidihi

aa vaaM naraa purubhujaa vavRtyaaM dive -dive cid ashvinaa sakhiiyan
