יִמְלֹ֤ךְ יְהוָ֨ה ׀ לְעוֹלָ֗ם אֱלֹהַ֣יִךְ צִ֭יּוֹן לְדֹ֥ר וָדֹ֗ר הַֽלְלוּ־ יָֽהּ׃

For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

yad vaahiSThaM tad agnaye bRhad arca vibhaavaso

Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;

With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

وَالَّذِينَ يُمَسِّكُونَ بِالْكِتَابِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ إِنَّا لَا نُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُصْلِحِينَ

dvijanmaanaM rayim iva prashastaM raatim bharad bhRgave maatarishvaa

A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;

Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.

sa id vane namasyubhir vacasyate caaru janeSu prabruvaaNa indriyam

neshat tamo dudhitaM rocata dyaur ud devyaa uSaso bhaanur arta

SaSTir viiraaso adhi SaD duvoyu vishved indrasya viiryaaaa\ kRtaani

agann indra shravo bRhad dyumnaM dadhiSva duSTaram

And when the Syrians saw that they were smitten before Israel, they gathered themselves together.

(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

agnayo na shushucaanaa RjiiSiNo bhRmiM dhamanto apa gaa avRNvata

achaa putraM dhenavo vaavashaanaa mahash caranti bibhrataM vapuuMSi

abhi ye tvaa vibhaavari stomair gRNanti vahnayaH

If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

sarasvati yaa sarathaM yayaatha svadhaabhir devi pitRbhir madantii

Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

agnir ha naamota jaatavedaaH shrudhii no hotar Rtasya hotaadhruk

And also unto the Levites; they shall no more carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof.
