אַף־ בְּ֭רִי יַטְרִ֣יחַ עָ֑ב יָ֝פִ֗יץ עֲנַ֣ן אוֹרֽוֹ׃

וּבָֽא־ מִתְהַלֵּ֥ךְ רֵישֶׁ֑ךָ וּ֝מַחְסֹרֶ֗יךָ כְּאִ֣ישׁ מָגֵֽן׃

גַּם־ אַ֭שּׁוּר נִלְוָ֣ה עִמָּ֑ם הָ֤י֥וּ זְר֖וֹעַ לִבְנֵי־ ל֣וֹט סֶֽלָה׃

פֶּ֨ן־ תַּשְׁחִת֔וּן וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֥ם לָכֶ֛ם פֶּ֖סֶל תְּמוּנַ֣ת כָּל־ סָ֑מֶל תַּבְנִ֥ית זָכָ֖ר א֥וֹ נְקֵבָֽה׃

וּבְנֵ֖י יָהְדָּ֑י רֶ֧גֶם וְיוֹתָ֛ם וְגֵישָׁ֥ן וָפֶ֖לֶט וְעֵיפָ֥ה וָשָֽׁעַף׃

הַצִּ֘ילֵ֤נִי מִדָּמִ֨ים ׀ אֱ‍ֽלֹהִ֗ים אֱלֹהֵ֥י תְשׁוּעָתִ֑י תְּרַנֵּ֥ן לְ֝שׁוֹנִ֗י צִדְקָתֶֽךָ׃

בְּיָ֣ד חֲ֭זָקָה וּבִזְר֣וֹעַ נְטוּיָ֑ה כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

וַֽיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃

Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

uSaa uchanty apa baadhataam aghaM svasty a\gniM samidhaanam iimahe

συναρπασθέντος δὲ τοῦ πλοίου καὶ μὴ δυναμένου ἀντοφθαλμεῖν τῷ ἀνέμῳ ἐπιδόντες ἐφερόμεθα.

يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَى يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًا مَحْجُورًا

agniM duutam puro dadhe havyavaaham upa bruve

तुल्यनिन्दास्तुतिर्मौनी सन्तुष्टो येनकेनचित् । अनिकेतः स्थिरमतिर्भक्तिमान्मे प्रियो नरः

Rtasya shloko badhiraa tatarda karNaa budhaanaH shucamaana aayoH

supraketebhiH saasahir dadhaano vidyaameSaM vRjanaM jiiradaanum

He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.

athedaM vishvam bhuvanam bhayaata indraaya sunvad RSaye ca shikSat

ye te trir ahan savitaH savaaso dive -dive saubhagam aasuvanti

And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?

sa vetasuM dashamaayaM dashoNiM tuutujim indraH svabhiSTisumnaH

They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?
