וּבְלִיַּ֕עַל כְּק֥וֹץ מֻנָ֖ד כֻּלָּ֑הַם כִּֽי־ לֹ֥א בְיָ֖ד יִקָּֽחוּ׃

καὶ ὁ δεύτερος ἔλαβεν αὐτήν, καὶ ἀπέθανεν ⸂μὴ καταλιπὼν⸃ σπέρμα, καὶ ὁ τρίτος ὡσαύτως·

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat.

pakSebhir apikakSebhir atraabhi saM rabhaamahe

And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

ye aM+satraa ya Rdhag rodasii ye vibhvo naraH svapatyaani cakruH

For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

For the kingdom is the LORD’s: and he is the governor among the nations.

إِلَّا الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ وَالْوِلْدَانِ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ حِيلَةً وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ سَبِيلًا

garbho bhaaram bharaty aa cid asya Rtam piparty anRtaM ni taariit

ἡμεῖς δὲ κηρύσσομεν Χριστὸν ἐσταυρωμένον, Ἰουδαίοις μὲν σκάνδαλον ⸀ἔθνεσιν δὲ μωρίαν,

But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.

لَا تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَبْصَارُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ الْأَبْصَارَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ

bRhaspatir usriyaa havyasuudaH kanikradad vaavashatiir ud aajat

ni tigmaani bhraashayan bhraashyaany ava sthiraa tanuhi yaatujuunaam

And he settled his countenance stedfastly, until he was ashamed: and the man of God wept.

κἀγὼ διατίθεμαι ὑμῖν, καθὼς διέθετό μοι ὁ πατήρ μου βασιλείαν,
