הַאֲזִ֣ינָה אֱ֭לֹהִים תְּפִלָּתִ֑י וְאַל־ תִּ֝תְעַלַּ֗ם מִתְּחִנָּתִֽי׃

כָּרַ֣תִּֽי בְ֭רִית לִבְחִירִ֑י נִ֝שְׁבַּ֗עְתִּי לְדָוִ֥ד עַבְדִּֽי׃

עֹכֵ֣ר בֵּ֭יתוֹ בּוֹצֵ֣עַ בָּ֑צַע וְשׂוֹנֵ֖א מַתָּנֹ֣ת יִחְיֶֽה׃

סְעָדֵ֥נִי וְאִוָּשֵׁ֑עָה וְאֶשְׁעָ֖ה בְחֻקֶּ֣יךָ תָמִֽיד׃

Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.

For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

yaahi suuno sahaso yasya nuu cid adeva iishe puruhuuta yotoH

Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?

Therefore the king said unto Shimei, Thou shalt not die. And the king sware unto him.

وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ

I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards:

وَإِنْ كَادُوا لَيَسْتَفِزُّونَكَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ لِيُخْرِجُوكَ مِنْهَا وَإِذًا لَا يَلْبَثُونَ خِلَافَكَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

bhuumyaa asur asRg aatmaa kva\ svit ko vidvaaMsam upa gaat praSTum etat

brahma priyaM devahitaM yad asty aham mitre varuNe yan mayobhu

My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

And in it have I put the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, that he made with the children of Israel.

The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

svagnayo vo agnibhiH syaama suuno sahasa uurjaam pate

Βλέπετε τοὺς κύνας, βλέπετε τοὺς κακοὺς ἐργάτας, βλέπετε τὴν κατατομήν.
