בְּקוּם־ לַמִּשְׁפָּ֥ט אֱלֹהִ֑ים לְהוֹשִׁ֖יעַ כָּל־ עַנְוֵי־ אֶ֣רֶץ סֶֽלָה׃

אַל־ תַּכְרִ֕יתוּ אֶת־ שֵׁ֖בֶט מִשְׁפְּחֹ֣ת הַקְּהָתִ֑י מִתּ֖וֹךְ הַלְוִיִּֽם׃

רֵאשִׁ֣ית חָ֭כְמָה קְנֵ֣ה חָכְמָ֑ה וּבְכָל־ קִ֝נְיָנְךָ֗ קְנֵ֣ה בִינָֽה׃

וְנִחַ֥לְתְּ בָּ֖ךְ לְעֵינֵ֣י גוֹיִ֑ם וְיָדַ֖עַתְּ כִּֽי־ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

vishve yaM devaa uta martyaaso madhu bruvanto abhi saMcaranti

Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

eko bahuunaam asi manyav iiLito vishaM-vishaM yudhaye saM shishaadhi

καὶ δεξάμενος ποτήριον εὐχαριστήσας εἶπεν· Λάβετε τοῦτο καὶ διαμερίσατε ⸂εἰς ἑαυτούς⸃·

ὅτι πᾶς ὁ ὑψῶν ἑαυτὸν ταπεινωθήσεται καὶ ὁ ταπεινῶν ἑαυτὸν ὑψωθήσεται.

dakSiNaavaaD vaajinii praacy eti havir bharanty agnaye ghRtaacii

And Jacob called the name of the place where God spake with him, Bethel.

The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.

ἔφη αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Πάλιν γέγραπται· Οὐκ ἐκπειράσεις κύριον τὸν θεόν σου.

He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots.

According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

svastaye vaayum upa bravaamahai somaM svasti bhuvanasya yas patiH

وَقَالُوا مَهْمَا تَأْتِنَا بِهِ مِنْ آيَةٍ لِتَسْحَرَنَا بِهَا فَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ

With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.

So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,

divi muurdhaanaM dadhiSe svarSaaM jihvaam agne cakRSe havyavaaham

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

pra vo .achaa jujuSaaNaaso asthur abhuuta vishve agriyota vaajaaH

pra yanti yaj~naM vipayanti barhiH somamaado vidathe dudhravaacaH

Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
