כִּֽי־ עַ֭תָּה הֱיִ֣יתֶם לא ל֑וֹ תִּֽרְא֥וּ חֲ֝תַ֗ת וַתִּירָֽאוּ׃

וַיַּ֣עַל מִשָּׁ֔ם אֶל־ יֹשְׁבֵ֖י דְּבִ֑ר וְשֵׁם־ דְּבִ֥ר לְפָנִ֖ים קִרְיַת־ סֵֽפֶר׃

But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me.

Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.

I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

graavaa yatra madhuSud ucyate bRhad aa sarvataatim aditiM vRNiimahe

yuvor hi maataaditir vicetasaa dyaur na bhuumiH payasaa pupuutani

sa naH kadaa cid arvataa gamad aa vaajasaataye gamad aa medhasaataye nabhantaam anyake same

ashvinaa pari vaam iSaH puruuciir iiyur giirbhir yatamaanaa amRdhraaH

فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُوا فِي دَارِكُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ذَلِكَ وَعْدٌ غَيْرُ مَكْذُوبٍ

As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

Why then hast thou not kept the oath of the LORD, and the commandment that I have charged thee with?

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

How much less shall I answer him, and choose out my words to reason with him?

ὁ ἥλιος μεταστραφήσεται εἰς σκότος καὶ ἡ σελήνη εἰς αἷμα πρὶν ⸀ἢ ⸀ἐλθεῖν ἡμέραν κυρίου τὴν μεγάλην καὶ ἐπιφανῆ.
