אֱכָל־ בְּנִ֣י דְבַ֣שׁ כִּי־ ט֑וֹב וְנֹ֥פֶת מָ֝ת֗וֹק עַל־ חִכֶּֽךָ׃

מֵימֵ֙ינוּ֙ בְּכֶ֣סֶף שָׁתִ֔ינוּ עֵצֵ֖ינוּ בִּמְחִ֥יר יָבֹֽאוּ׃

וַֽיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־ זְכַרְיָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃

שִׁמְע֥וּ רְחוֹקִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֑יתִי וּדְע֥וּ קְרוֹבִ֖ים גְּבֻרָתִֽי׃

אַל־ תֹּאמַ֥ר אֲשַׁלְּמָה־ רָ֑ע קַוֵּ֥ה לַֽ֝יהוָ֗ה וְיֹ֣שַֽׁע לָֽךְ׃

kRtaM na shvaghnii vi cinoti devane saMvargaM yan maghavaa suuryaM jayat

yasminn indraH pradivi vaavRdhaana oko dadhe brahmaNyantash ca naraH

adhaa hi kaavyaa yuvaM dakSasya puurbhir adbhutaa
