וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם֙ אֶת־ חֻקֹּתַ֔י וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם אֹתָ֑ם אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה מְקַדִּשְׁכֶֽם׃

וְהֵנִ֧יף אֶת־ הָעֹ֛מֶר לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לִֽרְצֹנְכֶ֑ם מִֽמָּחֳרַת֙ הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת יְנִיפֶ֖נּוּ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

וַיַּרְקִידֵ֥ם כְּמוֹ־ עֵ֑גֶל לְבָנ֥וֹן וְ֝שִׂרְיֹ֗ן כְּמ֣וֹ בֶן־ רְאֵמִֽים׃

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Take his garment that is surety for a stranger, and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.

But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

dadhnaa yad iim unniitaa yashasaa gavaaM daanaaya shuuram udamandiSuH sutaaH

And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

وَنَادَى فِرْعَوْنُ فِي قَوْمِهِ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِي مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَذِهِ الْأَنْهَارُ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِي أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
