וְהִקְטִיר֥וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חָה לֶ֥חֶם אִשֶּׁ֖ה לַיהוָֽה׃

בֶּן־ שָׁנָ֖ה שָׁא֣וּל בְּמָלְכ֑וֹ וּשְׁתֵּ֣י שָׁנִ֔ים מָלַ֖ךְ עַל־ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

יִנָּתֵ֣ק מֵ֭אָהֳלוֹ מִבְטַח֑וֹ וְ֝תַצְעִדֵ֗הוּ לְמֶ֣לֶךְ בַּלָּהֽוֹת׃

ט֖וֹב אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־ תִדֹּ֑ר מִשֶׁתִּדּ֖וֹר וְלֹ֥א תְשַׁלֵּֽם׃

tam u STuhi yaH sviSuH sudhanvaa yo vishvasya kSayati bheSajasya

And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God’s high priest?

οἱ δὲ σὺν ἐμοὶ ὄντες τὸ μὲν φῶς ⸀ἐθεάσαντο τὴν δὲ φωνὴν οὐκ ἤκουσαν τοῦ λαλοῦντός μοι.

But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

ἐὰν οὖν θεωρῆτε τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἀναβαίνοντα ὅπου ἦν τὸ πρότερον;

Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

varaaya te ghRtavantaH sutaasaH svaadman bhavantu piitaye madhuuni

وَلَا يَمْلِكُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنْ شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ

That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

indraagnii aa gataM sutaM giirbhir nabho vareNyam

sarasvatii saadhayantii dhiyaM na iLaa devii bhaaratii vishvatuurtiH

puurvaayuSaM suhavam puruspRham bhujyuM vaajeSu puurvyam

shreSThaM savaM savitaa saaviSan no .abhiiaa\ddho gharmas tad u Su pra vocam

وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَنْعَامِ لَعِبْرَةً نُسْقِيكُمْ مِمَّا فِي بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
