אַל־ תְּהִ֥י בְתֹֽקְעֵי־ כָ֑ף בַּ֝עֹרְבִ֗ים מַשָּׁאֽוֹת׃

וַיְהִ֨י כַאֲשֶׁר־ תַּ֜מּוּ כָּל־ אַנְשֵׁ֧י הַמִּלְחָמָ֛ה לָמ֖וּת מִקֶּ֥רֶב הָעָֽם׃

בְּנֵי־ אַסְנָ֥ה בְנֵי־ מעינים מְעוּנִ֖ים בְּנֵ֥י נפיסים נְפוּסִֽים׃

שִׁ֘יתָ֤ה יְהוָ֨ה ׀ מוֹרָ֗ה לָ֫הֶ֥ם יֵדְע֥וּ גוֹיִ֑ם אֱנ֖וֹשׁ הֵ֣מָּה סֶּֽלָה׃

taabhir no adya sumanaa upaagahi sahasrapoSaM subhage raraaNaa

If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach:

asya yaamaaso bRhato na vagnuun indhaanaa agneH sakhyuH shivasya

It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.

وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِأَعْدَائِكُمْ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ نَصِيرًا

And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,

So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

εἰ δὲ Χριστὸς ἐν ὑμῖν, τὸ μὲν σῶμα νεκρὸν διὰ ἁμαρτίαν, τὸ δὲ πνεῦμα ζωὴ διὰ δικαιοσύνην.

And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him.

jaj~naana eva vy a\baadhata spRdhaH praapashyad viiro abhi pauMsyaM raNam

ἔδοξε κἀμοὶ παρηκολουθηκότι ἄνωθεν πᾶσιν ἀκριβῶς καθεξῆς σοι γράψαι, κράτιστε Θεόφιλε,

وَلَقَدْ جِئْنَاهُمْ بِكِتَابٍ فَصَّلْنَاهُ عَلَى عِلْمٍ هُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

Μωϋσῆς γὰρ εἶπεν· Τίμα τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ τὴν μητέρα σου, καί· Ὁ κακολογῶν πατέρα ἢ μητέρα θανάτῳ τελευτάτω·

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا نَسُوقُ الْمَاءَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الْجُرُزِ فَنُخْرِجُ بِهِ زَرْعًا تَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ أَنْعَامُهُمْ وَأَنْفُسُهُمْ أَفَلَا يُبْصِرُونَ

dhiyaa shamii sacate sem abhi pravad divas kavandham ava darSad udriNam

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
