וּלְמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵי־ דָ֖ן נָשִׂ֑יא בֻּקִּ֖י בֶּן־ יָגְלִֽי׃

מִ֭י כַּיהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ הַֽמַּגְבִּיהִ֥י לָשָֽׁבֶת׃

וַיַּ֧עַשׂ הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ כִּסֵּא־ שֵׁ֖ן גָּד֑וֹל וַיְצַפֵּ֖הוּ זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר׃

אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּ֭יָדוֹ נֶ֣פֶשׁ כָּל־ חָ֑י וְ֝ר֗וּחַ כָּל־ בְּשַׂר־ אִֽישׁ׃

uurdhvo hy asthaad adhy antarikSe .adhaa vRtraaya pra vadhaM jabhaara

यच्चावहासार्थमसत्कृतोऽसि विहारशय्यासनभोजनेषु । एकोऽथवाऽप्यच्युत तत्समक्षम् तत्क्षामये त्वामहमप्रमेयम्

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

aasanniSuun hRtsvaso mayobhuun ya eSaam bhRtyaam RNadhat sa jiivaat

O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.

vidyaam aadityaa avaso vo asya yad aryaman bhaya aa cin mayobhu

द्वाविमौ पुरुषौ लोके क्षरश्चाक्षर एव च । क्षरः सर्वाणि भूतानि कूटस्थोऽक्षर उच्यते

puurviir hi garbhaH sharado vavardhaapashyaM jaataM yad asuuta maataa

⸀ὃ ἑώρακεν καὶ ἤκουσεν τοῦτο μαρτυρεῖ, καὶ τὴν μαρτυρίαν αὐτοῦ οὐδεὶς λαμβάνει.

Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me.

Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

Οἶδά σου τὰ ἔργα, ὅτι οὔτε ψυχρὸς εἶ οὔτε ζεστός. ὄφελον ψυχρὸς ἦς ἢ ζεστός.
