קֹדֵ֣ר הִ֭לַּכְתִּי בְּלֹ֣א חַמָּ֑ה קַ֖מְתִּי בַקָּהָ֣ל אֲשַׁוֵּֽעַ׃

לְֽפִי־ שִׂ֭כְלוֹ יְהֻלַּל־ אִ֑ישׁ וְנַעֲוֵה־ לֵ֝֗ב יִהְיֶ֥ה לָבֽוּז׃

הִשְׁתַּחֲו֣וּ לַ֭יהוָה בְּהַדְרַת־ קֹ֑דֶשׁ חִ֥ילוּ מִ֝פָּנָ֗יו כָּל־ הָאָֽרֶץ׃

אָשָׁ֖ם ה֑וּא אָשֹׁ֥ם אָשַׁ֖ם לַיהוָֽה׃

Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

καὶ παραχρῆμα ἀναστὰς ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν, ἄρας ἐφʼ ὃ κατέκειτο, ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ δοξάζων τὸν θεόν.

καὶ εἰσελθόντος αὐτοῦ εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα ἐσείσθη πᾶσα ἡ πόλις λέγουσα· Τίς ἐστιν οὗτος;

ahiM yad indro abhyohasaanaM \!\ ni cid vishvaayuH shayathe jaghaana

ἦλθον γὰρ διχάσαι ἄνθρωπον κατὰ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ θυγατέρα κατὰ τῆς μητρὸς αὐτῆς καὶ νύμφην κατὰ τῆς πενθερᾶς αὐτῆς,

dhenur na vatsam payasaabhi vajriNam indram indavo madhumanta uurmayaH

And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense,

tvam paahiindra sahiiyaso nRRn bhavaa marudbhir avayaataheLaaH

yaaM tvaa divo duhitar vardhayanty uSaH sujaate matibhir vasiSThaaH

aantrebhyas te gudaabhyo vaniSThor hRdayaad adhi

adhuurSata svayam ete vacobhir Rjuuyate vRjinaani bruvantaH

Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

sa roruvad abhi puurvaa acikradad upaaruhaH shrathayan svaadate hariH

Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.

hotraad ahaM varuNa bibhyad aayaM ned eva maa yunajann atra devaaH

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

Ἠκούσατε ὅτι ἐρρέθη τοῖς ἀρχαίοις· Οὐ φονεύσεις· ὃς δʼ ἂν φονεύσῃ, ἔνοχος ἔσται τῇ κρίσει.

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
