אִ֭וֶּלֶת קְשׁוּרָ֣ה בְלֶב־ נָ֑עַר שֵׁ֥בֶט מ֝וּסָ֗ר יַרְחִיקֶ֥נָּה מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃

בֶּן־ שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים וּשְׁתַּ֛יִם שָׁנָ֖ה יְהוֹרָ֣ם בְּמָלְכ֑וֹ וּשְׁמוֹנֶ֣ה שָׁנִ֔ים מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃

בְּזַ֖עַם תִּצְעַד־ אָ֑רֶץ בְּאַ֖ף תָּד֥וּשׁ גּוֹיִֽם׃

יְֽהוָ֗ה עֹ֭ז לְעַמּ֣וֹ יִתֵּ֑ן יְהוָ֓ה ׀ יְבָרֵ֖ךְ אֶת־ עַמּ֣וֹ בַשָּׁלֽוֹם׃

וְעָבְי֣וֹ טֶ֔פַח וּשְׂפָת֛וֹ כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה שְׂפַת־ כּ֖וֹס פֶּ֣רַח שׁוֹשָׁ֑ן אַלְפַּ֥יִם בַּ֖ת יָכִֽיל׃

טוֹב־ וְיָשָׁ֥ר יְהוָ֑ה עַל־ כֵּ֤ן יוֹרֶ֖ה חַטָּאִ֣ים בַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃

וּגְדֵר֕וֹת בֵּית־ דָּג֥וֹן וְנַעֲמָ֖ה וּמַקֵּדָ֑ה עָרִ֥ים שֵׁשׁ־ עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

καὶ σχεδὸν ἐν αἵματι πάντα καθαρίζεται κατὰ τὸν νόμον, καὶ χωρὶς αἱματεκχυσίας οὐ γίνεται ἄφεσις.

And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?

And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.

na ye divaH pRthivyaa antam aapur na maayaabhir dhanadaam paryabhuuvan

Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.

sa vaavashaana iha paahi somam marudbhir indra sakhibhiH sutaM naH

But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

aajuhvaana iiDyo vandyash caa yaahy agne vasubhiH sajoSaaH

Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

ko dampatii samanasaa vi yuuyod adha yad agniH shvashureSu diidayat

And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.

καὶ δαιμόνια πολλὰ ἐξέβαλλον, καὶ ἤλειφον ἐλαίῳ πολλοὺς ἀρρώστους καὶ ἐθεράπευον.
