לֹ֥א תַטֶּ֛ה מִשְׁפַּ֥ט אֶבְיֹנְךָ֖ בְּרִיבֽוֹ׃

רַח֣וּם וְחַנּ֣וּן יְהוָ֑ה אֶ֖רֶךְ אַפַּ֣יִם וְרַב־ חָֽסֶד׃

מֵשִׁ֣יב רָ֭עָה תַּ֣חַת טוֹבָ֑ה לֹא־ תמיש תָמ֥וּשׁ רָ֝עָ֗ה מִבֵּיתֽוֹ׃

שִׁלְחוּ־ כַ֥ר מֹשֵֽׁל־ אֶ֖רֶץ מִסֶּ֣לַע מִדְבָּ֑רָה אֶל־ הַ֖ר בַּת־ צִיּֽוֹן׃

A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,

Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:

But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.

eSa vishvaany abhy a\stu bhuumaa devaanaam agnir aratir jiiraashvaH

I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

apo na dhiiro manasaa suhastyo giraH sam a~nje vidatheSv aabhuvaH

adidyutat sv apaako vibhaavaagne yajasva rodasii uruucii

And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD;

Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.

trite duSvapnyaM sarvam aaptye pari dadmasy anehaso va uutayaH suuutayo va uutayaH

He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands.
