וְנָפְל֥וּ חֲלָלִ֖ים בְּאֶ֣רֶץ כַּשְׂדִּ֑ים וּמְדֻקָּרִ֖ים בְּחוּצוֹתֶֽיהָ׃

וְנֹעַדְתִּ֥י שָׁ֖מָּה לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְנִקְדַּ֖שׁ בִּכְבֹדִֽי׃

כָּל־ חֵ֗רֶם אֲשֶׁ֧ר יָחֳרַ֛ם מִן־ הָאָדָ֖ם לֹ֣א יִפָּדֶ֑ה מ֖וֹת יוּמָֽת׃

וַיֵּ֙שֶׁב֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּאֶ֖רֶץ הָאֱמֹרִֽי׃

And David arose and fled that day for fear of Saul, and went to Achish the king of Gath.

tanuunapaad ucyate garbha aasuro naraashaMso bhavati yad vijaayate

aMshuM duhanti hastino bharitrair madhvaH punanti dhaarayaa pavitraiH

All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.

ino vaam anyaH padaviir adabdho janaM ca mitro yatati bruvaaNaH

Now therefore up by night, thou and the people that is with thee, and lie in wait in the field:

dyaavaakSaamaa rukmo antar vi bhaati devaa agniM dhaarayan draviNodaam

This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

καὶ ἐνδυσάμενοι τὸν νέον τὸν ἀνακαινούμενον εἰς ἐπίγνωσιν κατʼ εἰκόνα τοῦ κτίσαντος αὐτόν,

sasthaavaanaa yavayasi tvam eka ic chaciipata indra vishvaabhir uutibhiH

addhi tRNam aghnye vishvadaaniim piba shuddham udakam aacarantii

رَبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ إِنْ يَشَأْ يَرْحَمْكُمْ أَوْ إِنْ يَشَأْ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكِيلًا

ἐπιποθῶ γὰρ ἰδεῖν ὑμᾶς, ἵνα τι μεταδῶ χάρισμα ὑμῖν πνευματικὸν εἰς τὸ στηριχθῆναι ὑμᾶς,

And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

na kSoNiibhyaam paribhve\ ta indriyaM na samudraiH parvatair indra te rathaH

σοῦ δὲ ποιοῦντος ἐλεημοσύνην μὴ γνώτω ἡ ἀριστερά σου τί ποιεῖ ἡ δεξιά σου,

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.

فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
