וַיֶּאֱסֹף֙ אֶת־ כָּל־ שָׂרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים וְהַלְוִיִּֽם׃

וְ֭אֵיךְ תְּנַחֲמ֣וּנִי הָ֑בֶל וּ֝תְשׁ֥וּבֹתֵיכֶ֗ם נִשְׁאַר־ מָֽעַל׃

כִּ֤י מַה־ חֶפְצ֣וֹ בְּבֵית֣וֹ אַחֲרָ֑יו וּמִסְפַּ֖ר חֳדָשָׁ֣יו חֻצָּֽצוּ׃

לְמַחְלְק֖וֹת לְשֹׁעֲרִ֑ים לַקָּרְחִ֕ים מְשֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֥הוּ בֶן־ קֹרֵ֖א מִן־ בְּנֵ֥י אָסָֽף׃

הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בְּמֵ֖ת לְכָל־ נֶ֣פֶשׁ אָדָ֑ם וְטָמֵ֖א שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃

כֹּ֣ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֵֽין־ ל֛וֹ סְנַפִּ֥יר וְקַשְׂקֶ֖שֶׂת בַּמָּ֑יִם שֶׁ֥קֶץ ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃

taam aabhRtyaa vy a\dadhuH purutraa taaM sapta rebhaa abhi saM navante

ukthebhir atra matibhish ca vipro .apiipayad gayo divyaani janma

Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:

takvaa na bhuurNir vanaa siSakti payo na dhenuH shucir vibhaavaa

vediSade priyadhaamaaya sudyute dhaasim iva pra bharaa yonim agnaye

Ἡ χάρις τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ μετὰ τοῦ πνεύματος ὑμῶν, ἀδελφοί· ἀμήν.

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ الَّذِي آتَيْنَاهُ آيَاتِنَا فَانْسَلَخَ مِنْهَا فَأَتْبَعَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ

If I rejoice at the destruction of him that hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him:

He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

The stranger did not lodge in the street: but I opened my doors to the traveller.
