כִּ֤י חֹ֣ק לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל ה֑וּא מִ֝שְׁפָּ֗ט לֵאלֹהֵ֥י יַעֲקֹֽב׃

וַיִּתֵּ֥ן אֶת־ קֹל֖וֹ בִּבְכִ֑י וַיִּשְׁמְע֣וּ מִצְרַ֔יִם וַיִּשְׁמַ֖ע בֵּ֥ית פַּרְעֹֽה׃

וַיִּפְשְׁע֤וּ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּבֵ֣ית דָּוִ֔ד עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃

רִיבָ֣ה רִ֭יבִי וּגְאָלֵ֑נִי לְאִמְרָתְךָ֥ חַיֵּֽנִי׃

בְּנֵ֖י אֱלִיפָ֑ז תֵּימָ֤ן וְאוֹמָר֙ צְפִ֣י וְגַעְתָּ֔ם קְנַ֖ז וְתִמְנָ֥ע וַעֲמָלֵֽק׃

בֶּן־ חֲשַׁבְיָ֥ה בֶן־ אֲמַצְיָ֖ה בֶּן־ חִלְקִיָּֽה׃

אִ֚ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִרְקַ֣ח כָּמֹ֔הוּ וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר יִתֵּ֛ן מִמֶּ֖נּוּ עַל־ זָ֑ר וְנִכְרַ֖ת מֵעַמָּֽיו׃

וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֶֽל־ אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר׃

خَاشِعَةً أَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ وَقَدْ كَانُوا يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى السُّجُودِ وَهُمْ سَالِمُونَ

And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be?

O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

imaM jambhasutam piba dhaanaavantaM karambhiNam apuupavantam ukthinam

God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

aa tvaa giirbhir mahaam uruM huve gaam iva bhojase

وَمَا تَنْقِمُ مِنَّا إِلَّا أَنْ آمَنَّا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا لَمَّا جَاءَتْنَا رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

abhuud agniH samidhe maanuSaaNaam akar jyotir baadhamaanaa tamaaMsi

κἀκεῖνοι δέ, ἐὰν μὴ ⸀ἐπιμένωσι τῇ ἀπιστίᾳ, ἐγκεντρισθήσονται· δυνατὸς γάρ ⸂ἐστιν ὁ θεὸς⸃ πάλιν ἐγκεντρίσαι αὐτούς.

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s wife.
