וַיְהִ֖י גְּב֣וּל נַחֲלָתָ֑ם צָרְעָ֥ה וְאֶשְׁתָּא֖וֹל וְעִ֥יר שָֽׁמֶשׁ׃

כִּ֣י מִכָּל־ צָ֭רָה הִצִּילָ֑נִי וּ֝בְאֹיְבַ֗י רָאֲתָ֥ה עֵינִֽי׃

מַלְכֵ֣י צְ֭בָאוֹת יִדֹּד֣וּן יִדֹּד֑וּן וּנְוַת־ בַּ֝֗יִת תְּחַלֵּ֥ק שָׁלָֽל׃

וַיַּ֣עַשׂ חַ֔יִל וַיַּ֖ךְ אֶת־ עֲמָלֵ֑ק וַיַּצֵּ֥ל אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִיַּ֥ד שֹׁסֵֽהוּ׃

And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

مَتَاعٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ نُذِيقُهُمُ الْعَذَابَ الشَّدِيدَ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَ

And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father’s,

I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

Ὑμεῖς ἐστε τὸ φῶς τοῦ κόσμου. οὐ δύναται πόλις κρυβῆναι ἐπάνω ὄρους κειμένη·

shaM na indraagnii bhavataam avobhiH shaM na indraavaruNaa raatahavyaa

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

अशोच्यानन्वशोचस्त्वं प्रज्ञावादांश्च भाषसे । गतासूनगतासूंश्च नानुशोचन्ति पण्डिताः

His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

tena suubharvaM shatavat sahasraM gavaam mudgalaH pradhane jigaaya

Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.

وَلَا يَصُدُّنَّكَ عَنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أُنْزِلَتْ إِلَيْكَ وَادْعُ إِلَى رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ

ἐγὼ δὲ οὐ παρὰ ἀνθρώπου τὴν μαρτυρίαν λαμβάνω, ἀλλὰ ταῦτα λέγω ἵνα ὑμεῖς σωθῆτε.

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.

And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:

When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and enquired early after God.

And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.
