לְגֵ֣רְשׁ֔וֹן מִשְׁפַּ֙חַת֙ הַלִּבְנִ֔י וּמִשְׁפַּ֖חַת הַשִּׁמְעִ֑י אֵ֣לֶּה הֵ֔ם מִשְׁפְּחֹ֖ת הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּֽי׃

חָ֭כְמוֹת בָּנְתָ֣ה בֵיתָ֑הּ חָצְבָ֖ה עַמּוּדֶ֣יהָ שִׁבְעָֽה׃

מְפַלְּטִ֗י מֵאֹ֫יְבָ֥י אַ֣ף מִן־ קָ֭מַי תְּרוֹמְמֵ֑נִי מֵאִ֥ישׁ חָ֝מָ֗ס תַּצִּילֵֽנִי׃

וַיָּ֧שָׁב יְהוֹשֻׁ֛עַ וְכָל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל עִמּ֖וֹ דְּבִ֑רָה וַיִּלָּ֖חֶם עָלֶֽיהָ׃

כִּֽי־ עַמְּךָ֥ וְנַחֲלָתְךָ֖ הֵ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֤ר הוֹצֵ֙אתָ֙ מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם מִתּ֖וֹךְ כּ֥וּר הַבַּרְזֶֽל׃

וְ֭אַתָּה שָׂנֵ֣אתָ מוּסָ֑ר וַתַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְ דְּבָרַ֣י אַחֲרֶֽיךָ׃

אַכְזְרִיּ֣וּת חֵ֭מָה וְשֶׁ֣טֶף אָ֑ף וּמִ֥י יַ֝עֲמֹד לִפְנֵ֥י קִנְאָֽה׃

In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD.

And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighties.

With kings and counsellors of the earth, which build desolate places for themselves;

Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?

They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.

yad gobhir indo camvo\H samajyasa aa suvaanaH soma kalasheSu siidasi

bhuuriM dve acarantii carantam padvantaM garbham apadii dadhaate

ὅτι ἐκολλήθησαν αὐτῆς αἱ ἁμαρτίαι ἄχρι τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, καὶ ἐμνημόνευσεν ὁ θεὸς τὰ ἀδικήματα αὐτῆς.

But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوْنَهُ أَبَدًا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالظَّالِمِينَ

He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.

And the cedar of the house within was carved with knops and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.

وَلَنْ يَتَمَنَّوْهُ أَبَدًا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالظَّالِمِينَ

Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?

vishvaa dhaamaani vishvacakSa RbhvasaH prabhos te sataH pari yanti ketavaH

varuutriibhiH susharaNo no astu tvaSTaa sudatro vi dadhaatu raayaH

And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?
