הִבִּ֣יטוּ אֵלָ֣יו וְנָהָ֑רוּ וּ֝פְנֵיהֶ֗ם אַל־ יֶחְפָּֽרוּ׃

וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ נִקְרָ֣א לַֽנַּעֲרָ֑ וְנִשְׁאֲלָ֖ה אֶת־ פִּֽיהָ׃

וְהֵ֖מָּה טֶ֣רֶם יִשְׁכָּ֑בוּן וְהִ֛יא עָלְתָ֥ה עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם עַל־ הַגָּֽג׃

גּ֤וּרוּ לָכֶ֨ם ׀ מִפְּנֵי־ חֶ֗רֶב כִּֽי־ חֵ֭מָה עֲוֺנ֣וֹת חָ֑רֶב לְמַ֖עַן תֵּדְע֣וּן שדין שַׁדּֽוּן׃

נוֹדָ֣ע בַּשְּׁעָרִ֣ים בַּעְלָ֑הּ בְּ֝שִׁבְתּ֗וֹ עִם־ זִקְנֵי־ אָֽרֶץ׃

shiro apashyam pathibhiH sugebhir areNubhir jehamaanam patatri

Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him,

And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them.

كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ مَنْ تَوَلَّاهُ فَأَنَّهُ يُضِلُّهُ وَيَهْدِيهِ إِلَى عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ

Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

sa duuto vishved abhi vaSTi sadmaa hotaa hiraNyaratho raMsujihvaH

How long wilt thou not depart from me, nor let me alone till I swallow down my spittle?

If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;

And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Also regard not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Egypt is yours.

And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.

And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
