וְאָמַ֖ר אֵ֣י אֱלֹהֵ֑ימוֹ צ֖וּר חָסָ֥יוּ בֽוֹ׃

עַבְדְּךָ־ אָ֥נִי הֲבִינֵ֑נִי וְ֝אֵדְעָ֗ה עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃

וַיַּעֲבִ֧דוּ מִצְרַ֛יִם אֶת־ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּפָֽרֶךְ׃

הָאַ֥יִל אֲשֶׁר־ רָאִ֖יתָ בַּ֣עַל הַקְּרָנָ֑יִם מַלְכֵ֖י מָדַ֥י וּפָרָֽס׃

סִגִ֗ים הִשְׁבַּ֥תָּ כָל־ רִשְׁעֵי־ אָ֑רֶץ לָ֝כֵ֗ן אָהַ֥בְתִּי עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃

agne gRNantam aMhasa uruSyorjo napaat puurbhir aayasiibhiH

abhii naraM dhiijavanaM ratheSThaam abhiindraM vRSaNaM vajrabaahum

ὅπου αὐτὸν ἐσταύρωσαν, καὶ μετʼ αὐτοῦ ἄλλους δύο ἐντεῦθεν καὶ ἐντεῦθεν, μέσον δὲ τὸν Ἰησοῦν.

And the children of Gad dwelt over against them, in the land of Bashan unto Salcah:

Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:

I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

Ὀφείλομεν δὲ ἡμεῖς οἱ δυνατοὶ τὰ ἀσθενήματα τῶν ἀδυνάτων βαστάζειν, καὶ μὴ ἑαυτοῖς ἀρέσκειν.

bodhaamasi tvaa haryashva yaj~nair bodhaa na stomam andhaso madeSu

فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ الْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنْذِرَ بِهِ قَوْمًا لُدًّا

ἵνα μὴ νωθροὶ γένησθε, μιμηταὶ δὲ τῶν διὰ πίστεως καὶ μακροθυμίας κληρονομούντων τὰς ἐπαγγελίας.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
