אֵי־ זֶ֣ה הַ֭דֶּרֶךְ יִשְׁכָּן־ א֑וֹר וְ֝חֹ֗שֶׁךְ אֵי־ זֶ֥ה מְקֹמֽוֹ׃

יְהוָ֣ה מָ֭לָךְ יִרְגְּז֣וּ עַמִּ֑ים יֹשֵׁ֥ב כְּ֝רוּבִ֗ים תָּנ֥וּט הָאָֽרֶץ׃

אֶ֭קְרָא לֵֽאלֹהִ֣ים עֶלְי֑וֹן לָ֝אֵ֗ל גֹּמֵ֥ר עָלָֽי׃

וַיֹּ֥אמֶר קַ֖יִן אֶל־ יְהוָ֑ה גָּד֥וֹל עֲוֺנִ֖י מִנְּשֹֽׂא׃

וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה אַחֲרֵ֣י עַשְׁתֹּ֔רֶת אֱלֹהֵ֖י צִדֹנִ֑ים וְאַחֲרֵ֣י מִלְכֹּ֔ם שִׁקֻּ֖ץ עַמֹּנִֽים׃

ק֖וֹלִי אֶל־ יְהוָ֣ה אֶקְרָ֑א וַיַּֽעֲנֵ֨נִי מֵהַ֖ר קָדְשׁ֣וֹ סֶֽלָה׃

Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;

O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.

arcaami vaaM vardhaayaapo ghRtasnuu dyaavaabhuumii shRNutaM rodasii me

And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:

σὺ πιστεύεις ὅτι ⸂εἷς ἐστιν ὁ θεός⸃; καλῶς ποιεῖς· καὶ τὰ δαιμόνια πιστεύουσιν καὶ φρίσσουσιν.

قُلْ مَنْ يَكْلَؤُكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ بَلْ هُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِمْ مُعْرِضُونَ

وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

tasya hotaa bhavasi yaasi duutya\m upa bruuSe yajasy adhvariiyasi

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

καὶ λέγετε· Εἰ ⸀ἤμεθα ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις τῶν πατέρων ἡμῶν, οὐκ ἂν ⸁ἤμεθα ⸂αὐτῶν κοινωνοὶ⸃ ἐν τῷ αἵματι τῶν προφητῶν·

garbhaM dhehi siniivaali garbhaM dhehi sarasvati

sam indra No manasaa neSi gobhiH saM suuribhir harivaH saM svasti

For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

aa saanu shuSmair nadayan pRthivyaa jambhebhir vishvam ushadhag vanaani

Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.

And Ehud escaped while they tarried, and passed beyond the quarries, and escaped unto Seirath.
