אִֽישׁ־ אַ֭ף יְגָרֶ֣ה מָד֑וֹן וּבַ֖עַל חֵמָ֣ה רַב־ פָּֽשַׁע׃

אֶשְׂמְחָ֣ה וְאֶעֶלְצָ֣ה בָ֑ךְ אֲזַמְּרָ֖ה שִׁמְךָ֣ עֶלְיֽוֹן׃

יִשְׂמַ֬ח צַדִּ֣יק בַּ֭יהוָה וְחָ֣סָה ב֑וֹ וְ֝יִתְהַֽלְל֗וּ כָּל־ יִשְׁרֵי־ לֵֽב׃

אִם־ תִּשְׁכַּ֥ב לֹֽא־ תִפְחָ֑ד וְ֝שָׁכַבְתָּ֗ וְֽעָרְבָ֥ה שְׁנָתֶֽךָ׃

הֲלֹא־ אֹ֭זֶן מִלִּ֣ין תִּבְחָ֑ן וְ֝חֵ֗ךְ אֹ֣כֶל יִטְעַם־ לֽוֹ׃

בְּנַפְשֵׁ֙נוּ֙ נָבִ֣יא לַחְמֵ֔נוּ מִפְּנֵ֖י חֶ֥רֶב הַמִּדְבָּֽר׃

וְעֵינֵ֥י לֵאָ֖ה רַכּ֑וֹת וְרָחֵל֙ הָֽיְתָ֔ה יְפַת־ תֹּ֖אַר וִיפַ֥ת מַרְאֶֽה׃

And this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man.

For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.

ذَلِكَ مِمَّا أَوْحَى إِلَيْكَ رَبُّكَ مِنَ الْحِكْمَةِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ فَتُلْقَى فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَلُومًا مَدْحُورًا

vi yo dhRSNo vadhiSo vajrahasta vishvaa vRtram amitriyaa shavobhiH

Κατὰ δὲ ἑορτὴν εἰώθει ὁ ἡγεμὼν ἀπολύειν ἕνα τῷ ὄχλῳ δέσμιον ὃν ἤθελον.

And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.

But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

ἵνα ὁ λόγος τοῦ Ἰησοῦ πληρωθῇ ὃν εἶπεν σημαίνων ποίῳ θανάτῳ ἤμελλεν ἀποθνῄσκειν.

The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,

καὶ ἀποκαταλλάξῃ τοὺς ἀμφοτέρους ἐν ἑνὶ σώματι τῷ θεῷ διὰ τοῦ σταυροῦ ἀποκτείνας τὴν ἔχθραν ἐν αὐτῷ·

agre sindhuunaam pavamaano arSaty agre vaaco agriyo goSu gachati

And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert,

And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
