וַיָּ֛שָׁב גִּדְע֥וֹן בֶּן־ יוֹאָ֖שׁ מִן־ הַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה מִֽלְמַעֲלֵ֖ה הֶחָֽרֶס׃

כֶּ֣סֶף נִמְאָ֔ס קָרְא֖וּ לָהֶ֑ם כִּֽי־ מָאַ֥ס יְהוָ֖ה בָּהֶֽם׃

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Then took I the cup at the LORD’s hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:

So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.

And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.

gotrabhidaM govidaM vajrabaahuM jayantam ajma pramRNantam ojasaa

vi vaaM ratho vadhvaaaa\ yaadamaano .antaan divo baadhate vartanibhyaam

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

maho raaye bRhatiiH sapta vipro mayobhuvo jaritaa johaviiti

Ἑβραῖοί εἰσιν; κἀγώ. Ἰσραηλῖταί εἰσιν; κἀγώ. σπέρμα Ἀβραάμ εἰσιν; κἀγώ.

οἳ ἐμαρτύρησάν σου τῇ ἀγάπῃ ἐνώπιον ἐκκλησίας, οὓς καλῶς ποιήσεις προπέμψας ἀξίως τοῦ θεοῦ·

Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

λυόντων δὲ αὐτῶν τὸν πῶλον εἶπαν οἱ κύριοι αὐτοῦ πρὸς αὐτούς· Τί λύετε τὸν πῶλον;

أَفَمَنْ وَعَدْنَاهُ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ لَاقِيهِ كَمَنْ مَتَّعْنَاهُ مَتَاعَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ هُوَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ

لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَقُّ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَاقٍ
