בְּנֵ֣י עֵילָ֔ם אֶ֕לֶף מָאתַ֖יִם חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים וְאַרְבָּעָֽה׃

בְּנֵ֣י עֵילָ֔ם אֶ֕לֶף מָאתַ֖יִם חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים וְאַרְבָּעָֽה׃

וְאֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֣י דִישָׁ֑ן חֶמְדָּ֥ן וְאֶשְׁבָּ֖ן וְיִתְרָ֥ן וּכְרָֽן׃

זֹ֗את נַחֲלַ֛ת מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵי־ דָ֖ן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם הֶֽעָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

And the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel, who is the father of Birzavith.

For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

ubhe yat tvaa bhavato rodasii anu rejate shuSmaat pRthivii cid adrivaH

paahi giirbhis tisRbhir uurjaam pate paahi catasRbhir vaso

These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

οἱ δὲ εἶπαν· Οἱ μὲν Ἰωάννην τὸν βαπτιστήν, ἄλλοι δὲ Ἠλίαν, ἕτεροι δὲ Ἰερεμίαν ἢ ἕνα τῶν προφητῶν.

ذَلِكَ لِيَعْلَمَ أَنِّي لَمْ أَخُنْهُ بِالْغَيْبِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي كَيْدَ الْخَائِنِينَ

Συμεὼν ἐξηγήσατο καθὼς πρῶτον ὁ θεὸς ἐπεσκέψατο λαβεῖν ἐξ ἐθνῶν ⸀λαὸν τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ.

Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
