וּבְנֵי֙ יְכָנְיָ֣ה אַסִּ֔ר שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵ֖ל בְּנֽוֹ׃

יִרְחֲק֣וּ בָנָ֣יו מִיֶּ֑שַׁע וְיִֽדַּכְּא֥וּ בַ֝שַּׁ֗עַר וְאֵ֣ין מַצִּֽיל׃

הִנֵּה־ זֹ֭את חֲקַרְנ֥וּהָ כֶּֽן־ הִ֑יא שְׁ֝מָעֶ֗נָּה וְאַתָּ֥ה דַֽע־ לָֽךְ׃

כִּ֤י כָל־ הַנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־ תְעֻנֶּ֔ה בְּעֶ֖צֶם הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה וְנִכְרְתָ֖ה מֵֽעַמֶּֽיהָ׃

יִשְׁפֹּ֤ט ׀ עֲ‍ֽנִיֵּי־ עָ֗ם י֭וֹשִׁיעַ לִבְנֵ֣י אֶבְי֑וֹן וִֽידַכֵּ֣א עוֹשֵֽׁק׃

עַל־ כֵּ֤ן ׀ אוֹדְךָ֖ בַגּוֹיִ֥ם ׀ יְהוָ֑ה וּלְשִׁמְךָ֥ אֲזַמֵּֽרָה׃

שָׁ֭לַח מֹשֶׁ֣ה עַבְדּ֑וֹ אַ֝הֲרֹ֗ן אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּֽחַר־ בּֽוֹ׃

His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

ete vadanti shatavat sahasravad abhi krandanti haritebhir aasabhiH

shaM naH parjanyo bhavatu prajaabhyaH shaM naH kSetrasya patir astu shambhuH

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.

And it shall come to pass, that thy choicest valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.

maa no akRte puruhuuta yonaav indra kSudhyadbhyo vaya aasutiM daaH

vRSaNaadhvaryuu vRSabhaaso adrayo vRSaNaM somaM vRSabhaaya suSvati

adrayas tvaa bapsati gor adhi tvacy a\psu tvaa hastair duduhur maniiSiNaH

Then said the king to Amasa, Assemble me the men of Judah within three days, and be thou here present.

Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
