אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה קְדֽוֹשְׁכֶ֑ם בּוֹרֵ֥א יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מַלְכְּכֶֽם׃

וַיִּקְשֹׁ֤ר עָלָיו֙ שַׁלֻּ֣ם בֶּן־ יָבֵ֔שׁ וַיַּכֵּ֥הוּ קָֽבָלְ־ עָ֖ם וַיְמִיתֵ֑הוּ וַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

וְהַלְוִיִּ֖ם לְמַטֵּ֣ה אֲבֹתָ֑ם לֹ֥א הָתְפָּקְד֖וּ בְּתוֹכָֽם׃

And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,

But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.

And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:

Hezekiah also had said, What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of the LORD?

yaabhii rebhaM nivRtaM sitam adbhya ud vandanam airayataM sva\r dRshe

μετανόησον οὖν ἀπὸ τῆς κακίας σου ταύτης, καὶ δεήθητι τοῦ ⸀κυρίου εἰ ἄρα ἀφεθήσεταί σοι ἡ ἐπίνοια τῆς καρδίας σου·

Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.

aiSu caakandhi puruhuuta suuriSu vRdhaaso ye maghavann aanashur magham

But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

tritaaya ca dvitaaya coSo duSvapnyaM vahaanehaso va uutayaH suuutayo va uutayaH

⸀Αὐτοὶ μὲν οὖν ἐκπεμφθέντες ὑπὸ τοῦ ⸂ἁγίου πνεύματος⸃ κατῆλθον ⸀εἰς Σελεύκειαν, ἐκεῖθέν ⸀τε ἀπέπλευσαν ⸁εἰς Κύπρον,

And he said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me.

χαίρομεν γὰρ ὅταν ἡμεῖς ἀσθενῶμεν, ὑμεῖς δὲ δυνατοὶ ἦτε· ⸀τοῦτο καὶ εὐχόμεθα, τὴν ὑμῶν κατάρτισιν.

The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.

In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

οὐ γὰρ ὁ ἑαυτὸν ⸀συνιστάνων, ἐκεῖνός ἐστιν δόκιμος, ἀλλὰ ὃν ὁ κύριος συνίστησιν.

Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?
