אִם־ אֶ֭מְנַע מֵחֵ֣פֶץ דַּלִּ֑ים וְעֵינֵ֖י אַלְמָנָ֣ה אֲכַלֶּֽה׃

וַיְשַׂגֵּ֣ב אֶבְי֣וֹן מֵע֑וֹנִי וַיָּ֥שֶׂם כַּ֝צֹּ֗אן מִשְׁפָּחֽוֹת׃

בְּרָב־ עָ֥ם הַדְרַת־ מֶ֑לֶךְ וּבְאֶ֥פֶס לְ֝אֹ֗ם מְחִתַּ֥ת רָזֽוֹן׃

פַּעֲמֹ֤ן זָהָב֙ וְרִמּ֔וֹן פּֽ͏ַעֲמֹ֥ן זָהָ֖ב וְרִמּ֑וֹן עַל־ שׁוּלֵ֥י הַמְּעִ֖יל סָבִֽיב׃

וַיָּבֹ֥א שָׁא֖וּל עַד־ עִ֣יר עֲמָלֵ֑ק וַיָּ֖רֶב בַּנָּֽחַל׃

וַיֵּ֥רֶד הָעַ֖יִט עַל־ הַפְּגָרִ֑ים וַיַּשֵּׁ֥ב אֹתָ֖ם אַבְרָֽם׃

In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan.

Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

Λοιπόν, ἀδελφοί, χαίρετε, καταρτίζεσθε, παρακαλεῖσθε, τὸ αὐτὸ φρονεῖτε, εἰρηνεύετε, καὶ ὁ θεὸς τῆς ἀγάπης καὶ εἰρήνης ἔσται μεθʼ ὑμῶν.

And he said, O my LORD, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.

And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven.

I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.

Thus saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart.

And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
