נֹצֵ֣ר תְּ֭אֵנָה יֹאכַ֣ל פִּרְיָ֑הּ וְשֹׁמֵ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣יו יְכֻבָּֽד׃

וַיִּצְעַ֥ק הָעָ֖ם אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֤ל מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־ יְהוָ֔ה וַתִּשְׁקַ֖ע הָאֵֽשׁ׃

בְּ֭נִי אִם־ חָכַ֣ם לִבֶּ֑ךָ יִשְׂמַ֖ח לִבִּ֣י גַם־ אָֽנִי׃

וַיֹּ֥אמֶר מֶֽלֶךְ־ סְדֹ֖ם אֶל־ אַבְרָ֑ם תֶּן־ לִ֣י הַנֶּ֔פֶשׁ וְהָרְכֻ֖שׁ קַֽח־ לָֽךְ׃

אֵ֛לֶּה מַסְעֵ֥י בְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְצִבְאֹתָ֑ם וַיִּסָּֽעוּ׃

Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch.

saptaardhagarbhaa bhuvanasya reto viSNos tiSThanti pradishaa vidharmaNi

ἀναστὰς δὲ Παῦλος καὶ κατασείσας τῇ χειρὶ εἶπεν· Ἄνδρες Ἰσραηλῖται καὶ οἱ φοβούμενοι τὸν θεόν, ἀκούσατε.

Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ يَهْدِيهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِإِيمَانِهِمْ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ

The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest such words go out of thy mouth?

καὶ ὁ νικῶν καὶ ὁ τηρῶν ἄχρι τέλους τὰ ἔργα μου, δώσω αὐτῷ ἐξουσίαν ἐπὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν,

καὶ πάλιν· Κύριος γινώσκει τοὺς διαλογισμοὺς τῶν σοφῶν ὅτι εἰσὶν μάταιοι.
