וַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־ נֵרֹתֶ֖יהָ שִׁבְעָ֑ה וּמַלְקָחֶ֥יהָ וּמַחְתֹּתֶ֖יהָ זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר׃

הֶעְמִֽיקוּ־ שִׁחֵ֖תוּ כִּימֵ֣י הַגִּבְעָ֑ה יִזְכּ֣וֹר עֲוֺנָ֔ם יִפְק֖וֹד חַטֹּאותָֽם׃

וְעַל־ הַ֨כְּרָמִ֔ים שִׁמְעִ֖י הָרָֽמָתִ֑י וְעַ֤ל שֶׁבַּכְּרָמִים֙ לְאֹצְר֣וֹת הַיַּ֔יִן זַבְדִּ֖י הַשִּׁפְמִֽי׃

שֶׁשָּׁ֨ם עָל֪וּ שְׁבָטִ֡ים שִׁבְטֵי־ יָ֭הּ עֵד֣וּת לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לְ֝הֹד֗וֹת לְשֵׁ֣ם יְהוָֽה׃

טֽוֹב־ אִ֭ישׁ חוֹנֵ֣ן וּמַלְוֶ֑ה יְכַלְכֵּ֖ל דְּבָרָ֣יו בְּמִשְׁפָּֽט׃

הֶֽ֭הָרִים רָקְד֣וּ כְאֵילִ֑ים גְּ֝בָע֗וֹת כִּבְנֵי־ צֹֽאן׃

אִֽי־ לָ֣ךְ אֶ֔רֶץ שֶׁמַּלְכֵּ֖ךְ נָ֑עַר וְשָׂרַ֖יִךְ בַּבֹּ֥קֶר יֹאכֵֽלוּ׃

It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.

As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife.

And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.

Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?

abhipitve manave shaasyo bhuur marmRjenya ushigbhir naakraH

aa no bhaja barhiSi jiivashaMse yuuyam paata svastibhiH sadaa naH

sugebhir vishvaa duritaa tarema vido Su Na urviyaa gaadham adya

Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
