אֵ֛ת ר֥וּחַ הַדָּר֖וֹם מָדָ֑ד חֲמֵשׁ־ מֵא֥וֹת קָנִ֖ים בִּקְנֵ֥ה הַמִּדָּֽה׃

וְהַ֨מְּדָנִ֔ים מָכְר֥וּ אֹת֖וֹ אֶל־ מִצְרָ֑יִם לְפֽוֹטִיפַר֙ סְרִ֣יס פַּרְעֹ֔ה שַׂ֖ר הַטַּבָּחִֽים׃

A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

وَإِنْ كَادُوا لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ عَنِ الَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ لِتَفْتَرِيَ عَلَيْنَا غَيْرَهُ وَإِذًا لَاتَّخَذُوكَ خَلِيلًا

indro yad vajrii dhRSamaaNo andhasaa bhinad valasya paridhiiM+r iva tritaH
