חֲכַ֣ם בְּ֭נִי וְשַׂמַּ֣ח לִבִּ֑י וְאָשִׁ֖יבָה חֹרְפִ֣י דָבָֽר׃

נָתַ֣ן גִּשְׁמֵיהֶ֣ם בָּרָ֑ד אֵ֖שׁ לֶהָב֣וֹת בְּאַרְצָֽם׃

וַיִּתֵּ֤ן מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶת־ הַגִּלְעָ֔ד לְמָכִ֖יר בֶּן־ מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב בָּֽהּ׃

מִבְּנֵ֣י שְׁכַנְיָ֔ה מִבְּנֵ֥י פַרְעֹ֖שׁ זְכַרְיָ֑ה וְעִמּ֛וֹ הִתְיַחֵ֥שׂ לִזְכָרִ֖ים מֵאָ֥ה וַחֲמִשִּֽׁים׃

πρῶτον μὲν γὰρ συνερχομένων ὑμῶν ἐν ἐκκλησίᾳ ἀκούω σχίσματα ἐν ὑμῖν ὑπάρχειν, καὶ μέρος τι πιστεύω.

Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.

He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.

A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

mandro yajiSTho adhvareSv iiDyo viprebhiH shukra manmabhiH

And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.

οὐχ ὅτι ἐπιζητῶ τὸ δόμα, ἀλλὰ ἐπιζητῶ τὸν καρπὸν τὸν πλεονάζοντα εἰς λόγον ὑμῶν.
